Güniz Çiçek is the managing partner of the firm. She has a leading experience on administrative law and public policy in representing multinational and Turkish companies at the intersection of law, public policy and strategy. She has extensive knowledge and practical experience in government affairs and regulation, PPPs, project finance, competition law and international trade law. She specializes in public policy, regulation, intellectual property, technology, litigation, dispute resolutions, real estate, trade, WTO practices, infrastructure and PPP projects on great variety of sectors. She also advises clients on international trade issues.
She has extensive experience in public procurement, including advising on procurement documentation, bidding strategies, drafting bidding agreements, leading negotiations between public authorities and private sector bidders. She has been giving legal advices to the Ministry of Health for more than 7 years. She has also been involved in a PPP project preparation (all public procurement procedure) of the Ministry of Education in 2013. She conducted the due diligence phase of the Istanbul International Finance Center Project on behalf of a foreign investor. She also advises trade associations, importers and exporters on a broad range of international trade issues, including tax planning, technical licenses and regulations requests, antidumping investigations, tariff classification, and customs practices.
